Honda 600RR rebuild - Day 7
I hooked up all the cables and wires using the 05 harness and thought I had the wiring done. Didn't work...
I installed the new clip-on and throttle assembly only to find out that I installed the throttle cables backwards... So I had to go back and swap the cables... which is really hard after the throttle body is installed on the bike. After that, I became to study the diagrams in full detailed and actually used highlighters and colored the different cables on paper to show the routing easier and totally made everything easier.
Since I was such a great mood, I cleaned up the garage and laid down some carpeting and rearranged the bikes a bit. I also put the airbox back on and routed the remaining wires correctly. I bought a new front rim and rotors for 280 shipped. Around this time I also got in on the group buy for the Scorpio Alarms and was the same time when my friend's 05 750 gixxer was recovered (stolen in late September). So I bought two and held one for him. He's still currently waiting for his bike.
