Honda 600RR rebuild - Day 1
So about this time, I found a new 05 600rr engine for 1200 shipped from a shop in VA. They even threw in a free master cylinder.
Disassembling the bike. Took the rear rim off and propped the bike up using 2x12's, concrete blocks, and a car jack. I have stands but the were being used on the r6.
To my surprise, the swingarm pivot axle goes through the engine block... Never noticed it before so I had to put some car jacks right under the frame to keep it up.
I had a tough time to get the chain off but I was able to after visiting the local hardware store and picked up a few new toys. You can clearly see the cracked engine block, missing cover & stator, as well as the dented stator basket.
